PLEASE stop trying so hard to be niche

PLEASE for the love of god stop trying so hard to be “niche” and different. Omgg bro idk what has happened recently to the culture at least online that so many people are so obsessed with being different and “cool” and know-it-alls its gen annoying. NO listening to a metal band with 2 monthly listeners that only posts every blue moon doesn't make u cool or better, NO liking a popular song from someone doesn't make someone a poser GROW Up

In peoples’ attempts at being different, they have effectively become like everyone else or posers!!! And God forbid ur not a super mega fan of something and make ur entire personality surrounding that thing until the next new “niche” thing comes around, all of a sudden ur not a “true fan.” Ok mijo roll back to kitchen ig.

This doesn’t even have to do with just music either its like with everything.. Im all for self expression and being yourself but you’re not exactly yourself when you’re trying way too hard to be something that isn't the norm just to feel special are you?
