I made this cake when I was suicidal

A few weeks ago I had just calmed down from a really bad mental breakdown, trying not to let it erupt into something worse or possibly relapse, especially because I felt my ED creeping back. These days it's been really easy to just not eat anything honestly, and I mainly eat once a day max anyways. With the added depression and stress it was just too much and I feel like I would have attempted again if I didn’t distract myself with baking. It was actually not meant for me but I decided to eat it anyways because I had not eaten in.. quite a while and felt really weak, what's better than some good sugar when you haven't eaten a thing? The truth is I wasn't craving anything at all, I had no appetite at all. But I really didn’t want anything to deteriorate. Due to my lack of energy and feeling weak I looked for a low effort recipe with minimal work and cleanup so I could manage to finish it, which I highly recommend for anyone who struggles to get motivation to cook. It's essentially a flourless chocolate torte. It came out really good even though I wasn't in the mood for it and if I had to pick, it would probably be my last meal (literally) ima put the recipe here

▢250g dark chocolate, chopped

▢½ cup/120 grams butter

▢5 eggs, separated

▢1 cup/200 grams sugar

▢1 tablespoon/7 grams cacao powder + more for topping

- preheat the oven to 170°C

- melt butter & chocolate in a bowl in the microwave then add the egg yolks one by one while stirring, sift in the cacao powder

- beat the egg whites, gradually adding your sugar, and wait a few minutes until stiff peaks form basically the meringe method

- fold chocolate mixture together with a spatula until you get a very smooth batter

- grease a medium-sized round baking pan and line it with parchment paper or not literally just do whatever you want, and pour in the batter, bake for 30-35 minutes.

Then when you're done let it cool obviously and eat the whole thing if you want.
