This album made me cry. All of Oidupaa's stuff makes me teary. The songs were recorded when he was very old. His voice sounds very strained unlike in his first album Divine Songs from a Jail. The accordion in this album adds so much to this album though. In all of the songs you can hear every single sound that comes out of the accordion. Especially the squeaking of the keys. I don't know if this is right but I suspect this accordion is the same accordion he had while in prison. If thats true then it just makes this album a whole lot more sad. If you listened to Divine Songs from a Jail and loved it you have to check this album out as well.
also check out this link: https://youtu.be/VWW4TcOQnFA?si=CxWGchig2rH1MDnk its a beautiful duet with himself and his wife.

i'm listening to "sons and daughters", it's such a wholesome sight to see and what a really cute song to hear! i can hear the love in both of them, i love the bonding moments they're having right now. the instrument adds on to it, 2 . very heartwarming.
i'll be listening to this dude a bit more. i don't know how to describe his songs, but they're rather comforting
I'm really happy you enjoyed! I'd highly recommend listening to all of his stuff! His entire discography is only 1 hr 30 minutes so its really quick :))
