Why Are Strangers Easier?

✧˖° Sometimes it’s weird how easy it is to open up to someone you just met.
Like, they barely know anything about you, and somehow that makes it easier to talk.

Out of nowhere you’re telling them random things about your life
little stories, thoughts you usually keep in your head,
stuff you wouldn’t normally say out loud.

And the funny part is that you might never say any of that
to people you’ve known for years.

Maybe it’s because with strangers there’s no pressure.
No expectations, no image you have to keep up,
no worrying about what they’ll think of you later.

You just talk… and that’s it. ✧˖°
