im a fictional character from an indie show and my friends are the fandom

you know what they say "media literacy is dead". and its especially true when it comes to my friends who KEEP MISCHARACTERIZING ME! 

i thought they knew me but it seems like everytime we talk they manage to come up with new bullshit. 

two(or three, four maybe?) days ago i got into a fight with one of my friends because i didnt text him for a a few days (due to personal issues). he called me all kinds of awful things because he thought i was mad at him and didnt tell him why (even though i didnt give him any reasons to think that(i ghost my friends regularly(i dont know why he found it unusual))) 

i thought we were too old for this shit. i really dont know why he overreacted like this. we've been friends since middleschool, i thought he'd know me by now. 

but the worst part is that hes not the only person who acts like they dont know anything about me. i got into another fight with my other friend back in january.

it hurts to see people you love failing to understand you.  

i dont think i will be able to get close with my friends after everything they've said to me this year(2026 has been really shitty when it comes to relationships and its only march!). 

i may forgive them but ill never forget.
