Have you ever play something and think it had very good gameplay,concept,characters,lore or setting but is wasted by something? I do have one! and that is Mr.Hopps Playhouse and That's not my neighbors!
I played both games, I do like them slightly. For Mr.Hopps playhouse I really like the gameplay for the first and the second game but after three is not my cup of tea at all.
I really like paper,please so I like TNMN in early day it came out then the milkman obsession is everywhere and I don't think he is THAT amazing,Also I would prefer the game to be more on serious and horror vibe but again it just not that amazing at the end.

Not a game specifically, but the Spinner item in Zelda Twilight Princess. The dungeon room where you get to learn how to use it is so fun, and the whole idea of riding on a gear along walls and jumping between them is a really nice concept. I'd say it's even good enough to make a whole game around (though not a Zelda one of course, like a simple indie game type thing).
It seems like such a fun item to use, and then you find out the only places in the game that you use it are in that one dungeon room, during the dungeon's boss battle, to reach one chest out in the overworld, and to open some doors in another dungeon. Opening the doors doesn't even require using it in the fun way where you ride along a track on a wall, you just stand on it and spin it into a slot on the floor. Afaik it hasn't had any major use in games since and its only further appearance is as an optional bonus thing.

Like any half baked port or unfinished homebrew game but I think one that could've been more was dragon ball Tenkaichi tag team probably because of the limitations at the time they couldn't fit many characters in the game it's still GOOD but it could've been better
Also fallout new Vegas because it just doesn't know how to not crash and takes longer to setup than I spend average time playing it
