Summer 2026 Bucket List

The last few days have been wonderful, the sunlight and the warmth have me really craving for summer! I really want to have a good summer this year, therefore by planning a bit and creating this bucket list i think i can achieve a better one than the last ones.

A few of those things might be very specific and others more generic or habit-like. I will also put other ideas that i personally don’t want to do but you might ;)

Howeverrr feel free to take as much inspiration from here as you want! Let’s all have a great summer of 2026!

MY BUCKETLIST

1. reading at a cafè. Yes, a classic. I have been wanting to this for years but i am sooo afraid of being kicked out for this that i never actually managed to try. (Besides, i also haven’t really been going to cafés in the past lol)

2. reading in a medow, optionally with a picnic. I generally want to spent a lot more time outside, since it’s good for my mental health (but also because i enjoy it haha) But don’t forget the sunscreen!

3. making an irl friend. I have absolutely no idea how i will manage to do that…

4. trying to do daily walks. Again for being outside more and also having a sporty activity.

5. eating fruit at least 3 times a week. I really need to establish more healthy habits.

6. Make a smoothie! I really love smooties but i usually never make them myself xd

7. No Phone days! I’m excited for these, but also a bit scared haha. Don’t know for how much days i want to do that yet tho.

8. Come out to my grandparents Okayyy, now we’re getting a little too personal (and negative).

9. Bake a cake! I just now i’ll be craving chocolate cake.

10. Being ouside in the late evening! Around the time when sun sets and a little after. I feel like that is such an underrated time of day.

11. Shop at thrift stores!

12. Work on my endless DIY project pile! There are sooo much DIY projects i have started but never finnished, like the crochet plant for my room, a hoodie i started to paint, a skirt i sewed and a beaded curtain i’m making. I really need to finnish these projects.

13. Relax! Honestly, there is so much going on and so much that needs improving in my life that i often forget to take a day or a few to just chill and relax and forget about all those struggles of mine and what is currently going on in the world.

14. Gardening!

15. Reading! (A lot)

16. Celebrate Summerween!

17. Doing a book swap! Yk the ones where you and an other person choose a book for eachother, read and annotate it and then swap and read and annotate it again.

18. Play board-/cardgames! Magic the gathering let’s gooo (I’m a noob)

19. Get out of the town where i live for at least a week! Nessecary. Otherwise i’ll be going insane.

20. Light candles! I have a few but always forget to light them.



OTHER IDEAS

1. anything to do with water! Swimming at the local lake, river or swimming pool or learning to surf! Nothing for me personally, i really dislike swimming and water in general lol

2. A blind date with a book!

3. Make a scrapbook!

4. Paint a tote bag! Picture below of one i made :D

5. Dress up with your friends in fancy suits/dresses and go out to eat at McDonalds! Heard that this is really fun, i just can’t do it myself because of my social anxiety and lack of friends.

6. Go to local events/shows!

7. Make a playlist with nostalgic songs! (And listen to it throughout the summer lol)

8. Painting! On a canvas, your face, your friends legs or walls and doors.

9. Bedazzle some shi-

10. Burn a CD! For the record, i don’t mean setting one on fire.

11. Start Penpalling!



I hope you liked the ideas! I think i might update it when something new comes to my mind.
