Hello guyz
I am very new to Spacehey and I am exited! however I have seen many a blog complain about how this sight feels a bit dead or antisocial..
Ironically a lot of these blog posts were some of the most popin i've seen.. It makes me wonder if, in reality, there are many people on here who are all wishing for community but are simultaneously unsure how to create one without an algorithm?
but this is just my thoughts, If anyone happens to see this try interacting! because I would like to know if I am right and if there actually are other people on here who are exited about the awesome potential this website has!

I fully agree!! I've seen so so many posts about the site being dead and while it's true that there's a LOT of inactive accounts, that doesn't necessarily mean the site is dead. I feel like people perceive it that way because, as you said, they don't know how to work without an algorithm. Not just that, but it works less on the idea of likes and followers. Sure, you can give kudos on posts, but I don't feel it to be the same thing. There's less pressure in a kudo and it's simply there. Whether or not you give kudos doesn't reflect on what you see. There's no place where you can see every post you've given a kudo on. They're simply there.
Yes this is a rlly good point. I also feel like it’s similar with groups/ forums. cld be rlly cool but as it is now there’s very little incentive to regularly interact

i agree! we are used to a certain excessive algorithm with its usual platforms to the point everything that isnt stimulating to the way we have been taught feels "dead" (which factually isnt true). it does take quite a while to find a place in the potential spacehey has but at the same time it's such a fresh breath of air!!!!
agree, I recently deleted Tiktok and this site has lowk become my replacement. It feels like such a breath of fresh air !
