I hate performative weird people that only became weird since it became a "trend"
like they try to act so different and then go on TikTok and repost "I'm so different like a unicorn among horses", last time I checked those same people used to bully others for not fitting in, and all of a sudden its cool to be weird?
they go on social media saying "omg I love FNAF hahaha no one knows what it means I'm so different" and when u ask them abt like the lore or something they become like "uhhhhhhhhh", yeah no.. ur not weird for discovering what FNAF stands for..
and yes I take this seriously bc I used to get picked on for not fitting in, so it becoming a trend is so disappointing cuz now all I see is people trying so desperate to be different but the more they try the more they blend in with the other performative weirdos, the only thing weird abt them is how desperate they are to be something they cant
also when they found out that u have like so many interests they start copying ur every move and start reposting the same vids u repost that are abt ur interest, I had so many experiences like these and omg was it hell on earth
there's this one girl that I blocked (thank god) and like she was so performative and desperate to be weird js to cry abt something, but like she wasn't that bad
not as bad as the girl I'm "friends" with, I used to think having friends IRL with the same interest was so cool, now I HATE it, cux this girl literally analyzes my every move and copies it, and it's a obvious she is bc every time I post something abt my interest and the next day I meet her, shes like "omg ur post was so cool and niche omg omg hehehehehe" and then the next day she makes it her whole personality js bc I talked abt it to her, omg I feel like shes stalking the sh*t out of me and then copies me, and the fact that people like her more than me is crazy knowing her whole personality is ALL ME. and like I cant believe I'm still friends with her, which Im not, I mean I am js bc shes my means of transport soo other than that I'm distant, I also cant unfriend her bc I literally told her all my secrets ugh why TF would I do that, maybe cuz I'm addicted to overspilling to people unfortunately

ughhh that must b so annoying.. i haven't personally experienced ppl copying me but i see sm ppl on tiktok thinking they're "niche" when they're just hopping onto every microtrend.

Tbh I've mostly see this type of thing online! Can and does apply IRL though! And it's frustrating bc they'll be in full alt fashion and then you ask then about it "oh its all from temu" and when you get to know then they're the most ignorant person alive who still bullies anyone who isn't like them! And then you point it out they either ignore you or start hating (bc they don't want to admit their ignorance)
they're the most annoying type of people on earth, especially when they copy ur whole existence then ignore u

an example is digital cameras and camcorders, in 2021 they were dirt cheap because noone wanted them. the millennials had flogged them off years ago for iphones and people who appreciated their great colours could pick up a decent cybershot for like 5$
now because the y2k thing is in full swing and the same consoomer millennials who sold their cameras 10 years ago now want them back for the "le heckin retro nostalgerino" ppl have scalped the fuck out of them, now my beaten up sanyo went from being 10$ at cash converters to 110$ and my panasonic nv-mx2000 went from being 5$ to 220$
this has killed the hobby. tourists, grifters and posers kill everything they touch, now noone can get in on this wonderful thing because a giant swathe of bald fucks all decided at once to board the nostalgia train..
