Art Burnout (Vent warning)

I'm not entirely sure where to categorize this blog post, but people here don't seem to care where they post, either way.

I'm honestly getting tired of having to post art online now.

Sure, it's a privilege to have a lot of followers and fans over the years of trying to build your following, being able to make money off of doing what you love is great, but once you come there, it's just way too fucking stressful. 

To keep them satisfied and give them reasons to still follow you, make content that interests them to make them keep interacting with your posts, chasing trends, and when you don't you just get thrown to the gutter of the algorithm. 

Feeling your mentality plummet as you watch your follower count go down as well. Oh! As it turns out 90% of your followers are actually bots! Reading the followers complain about how you decided to change your artstyle or interests—

Life is already too fucking stressful on its own, I'm not gonna stress over this as well and lose more of my sanity. 

I honestly forgot why I love drawing, creating characters, stories, and worlds in the first place.
