A Complaint from a Plastic Hater
You come home after a 9-to-5 job or even a straight-up 12-hour job. You're tired and hungry from dealing with people, numbers, whatever- then you realize, "Shit I don't have anything to eat right now." What do you do? Obviously, in an idealized world, you would've cooked, maybe even have meals prepared beforehand. But then what do you use to contain said meals? Fucking plastic. Oh my god, why is this shit everywhere? Call me naive, call me stupid, but I just barely became an adult with my own apartment. It's cheap, I get it. But my goal? Get this shit outta my apartment, I'm tired of cling wrap, plastic containers, fucking silicon utensils! Don't even get me started on shitty cookware. Don't get me wrong, I love Tjmaxx, Ross, and Burlington, but I mainly go there if they have cheap glass containers. And after all that, I go to Walgreens and get a microwaveable TV dinner and drive home like some bozo who just became a hypocrite.
My Goal
- Get plastic out, find and list alternatives for people who feel the same
- Keep it cheap and mostly easy
- Do some research, especially if it's from social media
- Try to keep it biodegradable, and if it's an item that can serve as another purpose (crafts, etc), do so. (honestly, the earth needs anyone's help)
I also want to post recipes I have made and/or stumbled upon. Whether it's food, spices, spells, tea making, coffees, etc etc.

Tbh i hate what weve done w plastic not plastic in itself. When it was first invented ppl didint use single use plastic and ofc thag was bad for the companys so they did what componies do and made ppl comfy w single use stuff(bc before ppl would use stuff until it brakes, sometimes lasting generasions). Like i dont have a problem w all plastic bc plastic containers could be passed down too, and in a lot of ways theyre more durible(like u can drop them and they wont brake like glass, ig theres probs wood containers somewere tho). But yea single use plastic SUCKS

GREETINGS FELLOW PLASTIC HATER! I too am an avid despiser of plastic so much so that I'm in the process of swapping out all my clothes for natural fibers instead of shitty polyester :D I also tossed my polyester pillows and DIY'ed cotton ones!

mr/mrs turtle. your attempts to make plastic straws disapear worked last time. do not try and make plastic other things go away. i personally dislike turtles cause of what happened with them making people worry about plastic straws.
