[question] how to plan a noobie workout routine ? ?

so i need to start working out to gain weight and muscle, but im completely new to all of it. so far ive been drinking protein shakes and eating more often thankfully, but now im trying to workout and just went in blind. 

i know i should do full body workouts, but i have no idea what sets or specific stuff im supposed to be doing and using. for now, ive been lifting 5lbs dumbbells and walk on the treadmill for around 15 minutes. i cant run right now, would prob be bad for my asthma and the state im in, but i would like to build enough strength to not only walk longer but run too for necessary situations. i also want to build my arms during all this to be stronger, then learn how to defend myself in the future. 

ive tried looking up routines on google, reddit, and even pintrest, but i havent found anything all that helpful. does anyone know WHAT im supposed to be doing specifically as a noob ? ?

I suggest following some premade plans like Chloe Ting's yearly two week shreds and taking parts of that that helped you to create your own workouts.

notes: Full body workouts BURN. You will be sore and there's no way to get around that. Depending on your goals, lifting weights si a good idea and also eating lots of protein.

Because you have asthma, you should keep going with what you're doing on the treadmills.

One day- arm workouts with weights, like what you're doing right now + the treadmill

day two- leg workout ( squats with the dumbbells and stuff like that) + the treadmill


day three- all three

and throughout that cycle, make sure you get a lot protein so that your muscles will form

oh sweet, ive been doing most of this already thankfully ! tho i forgot im supposed to do certain parts on certain days lol. thank you for the resource !
