Here are some of the one's I play:
*Tomodatchi Life[you probably already know of it though]
*Style Savvy Trendsetters, Fashion Forward, Styling Star. Styling Star is often considered the best in the series, but I suggest starting with Trendsetters and Fashion Forward first.
*Art Academy Series. Pokemon Art Academy is my favourite.
*Pokemon X. I also have Omega Ruby and Moon, but X is the only one I've played.
*Nintendogs + Cats. If you're into pet sim games, recommend this one.
*Rhythm Heaven Megamix
*Spongebob Squigglepants 3D. It's a pretty solid WarioWare clone.
*Mighty Switch Force. Not a 3DS exclusive.
*Pocket Card Jockey. A solitaire game with horse racing.
*Miitopia. It's also available on the switch, but the 3DS port is pretty good as well, and far more portable.

pokemon games? i have x&y but i think earlier ones can run too. cooking mama i think? also on pokemon rumble is pretty fun
