bro i wanna experiment with my style ngl

so like i don't have much fun clothes, my closet is overflowing with some kids clothes and i wanna change it, the problem is that... im like mr krabs XD i dont like spending money, but i also want to finally look like a 16/17 year old and not a 12 year old... maybe thrifting is a option? but my local thrift stores have mostly AI slop or grandma clothes... i might want to check out vinted, but im worried that i might accidentally buy shein slop... i need to learn how to verify these things...
