Dead/abandoned games that stopped development make me sad lowk

The thought of games that never got a chance to release makes me so sad like this one homebrew for PSP cause of war 1944 it looked so promising from looking at the moddb i think the devs even wanted to implement vehicles and it also had a zombies mode like CoD zombies

its sad seeing games like that never get to be released especially if you get a leaked version of the game that is playable but doesn't have all the content

If theres like a version thats 80 percent done and its just a port of an already existing game its ok some people or modders can probably recreate and finish the port but if its an original game theres like nothing you can really do

Like the half life dreamcast port people managed to clean it up and get it working with even some mods for it

also sometimes developers just make a "game" which isn't even like an actual game its just loose areas that they made to showcase like splatoon island which was just an april fools prank

it was never real it was just a showcase the dude made a whole trailer just to put april fools at the end i was in denial for like 3 days
