My day: 3/2/26

Hello! I'd like to talk about my day today!

Honestly, Monday hit me hard. I had a history test today that I totally stressed about up until the time that I took it! My teacher actually went over all of the questions before the test, and that totally helped me ace it! Though he told us all of the answers, you still could have a tough time if you didn't know it, so hopefully my studying came in handy. I also got notice that there is going to be mock testing for my biology class (AP), and that it is going to be held every day this week, with the addition of Saturday. It is worth extra credit, and it can't hurt my grades at all, but honestly I wish my teacher told me sooner because I'd like to study all of the units first: we get double extra credit on either our quarter 3 (current) or 4 grades, which will be an amazing cushion to land on during final exam week. Because my biology class is advanced placement, they have their own separate test and exam week, so I will be taking my biology final exam on May 4th (please don't say it), and after that we will get to do many fun things! We'll get to dissect pigs and sort their organs (As a want-to-be farm vet, I'm getting a nosebleed at the thought of it, I'm so excited) and we also get to go out to streams in the spring with weighers to do some activity (I also love doing those things too). Only 4 more months!

Next up, I went out to get the paper, and while I was in the convenience store, I picked up a "mocha" coffee can. It was surprisingly good, but couldn't top my favorite "Draft" brand "Mint Mocha" that is, unfortunately, very seasonal. I love coffee and tea, especially hot green tea or some coffee with ONLY milk. I'm not much of a caffeine person, but a nice canned mocha certainly helps get through those tough study sessions. Oh--also, I only like to drink tea out of my FAVORITE strawberry mug; my mom got me this wonderful strawberry mug for Christmas, and I haven't wanted my tea in anything else since! It's so cute and I want to find more like it.

On another tea tangent, I'd like to get a new tea set! I have one, and not to be ungrateful, but it is quite tacky and mis-matched. I got it at the thrift store abut 3 years ago and have scarcely used it. I don't feel bad for wanting a new one because my mother can use the cups and creamers to put her plants in, or to make a mosaic. I saw this really cute Miffy Sakura Tea Set and Super want to get it! Unfortunately, the teapot itself is $62(USD) with the cups and plates coming separately too. I do plan on getting it some day, but for not it is only but a distant dream~

Thanks for reading, have a wonderful day!
