hello everybuggy! long time no see. unfortunately, i've been found dead the entire month of february - it's probably the first time most of my spacehey friends are seeing me in a while. oopsie, i really didn't mean to go kaput that long, but my social battery tanked and flatlined. i can't say that it's gotten better, buuuut i am trying..!!!

anywhoodles, it's that time of month again... art recap month!!!! yaaaaayyy.... ........ (long uncomfortable silence)

i have to be honest with you. i have barely drawn over the last 2 months. between bad overall energy and the ever-dreaded wrist pain, i think this blog is gonna be rather drab compared to the previous one. but that's okay... not every two-month period is gonna be full of illustrations. i know in place of drawing, i've done other stuff that i'm proud of. and you should always be kind to yourself, so i'm gonna be so kind it'll knock my socks off!

also, did you notice it? (bats eyelashes) did you notice that i updated my blog code to be cleaner and nicer? (bats eyelashes harder)

well, i did! and you can see the difference between this blog and what i was using before by checking out my ~PREVIOUS ENTRIES~ (all two of them!). i decided to leave those blogs' codes as they were, despite me having this newer code. thats partly because i don't feel like updating those old thangs, and partly because now i feel a bit fondly towards preserving the code i had at the time. even if its bad. so, cheers to improvement and another toast to coding in general!

comments: a collab drawing with the ever-lovely garb! the subject for today is 100 bunny. i drew all the fully-colored bunnies in the middle of the canvas, which i feel purty proud of. i don't usually do painterly stuff, but gosh its really fun and there is something satisfying about not actually doing lineart and making the sketch cope by adding a million billion colors.

comments: this collab is likeee... lol. garb and i were just playing around. he got a new toy so we drew together mostly just to dick around, but this is a very exciting prospect for future drawing collabs... (eyes emoji) and i know yall love ximo as much as we do, its the most drawable character in the planet and galaxy

okie pokie, thats all the arts ive got for this time around. i tried some new ways to display my art this time around to further accentuate the deviantart-ness of this css theme, which i hope you liked! i'm digging the new look for the sketch gallery a ton, though i neither made the images have hyperlinks to view them in higher res *nor* found some cool way to perhaps integrate gallery enlargement..? dunno if the latter is possible but i woulda at least liked to look into it x) ah well, you can always right click to copy the image address and paste it in your browser if you want to zoom in and junk.

also, i briefly contemplated adding a "writing samples" collection to this recap blog, cuz i have a bunch of half-finished written pieces that i prob won't get around to working more on until much later. but with how much work i put in to make this blog have new display case html, bah. i don't wanna figure out how i would even add writing pieces to this xP but if that's something ur interested in, mebbey i can make a dedicated blog to it?
