SPEAK TO THE LISTENER

POV: You are arguing/talking to THAT person

Hello everyone! I'm gonna tell my experience as listener in my own perspective and personal thoughts

I may hate talking at length about myself or being self-centered, but hey! being a listener has its own kind of power:

- You can read people... by their gesture, the way they act.. Not literally like in the movies that you can read their mid or something, but still-

- Avoid or fix some drama or serious situation... unless you like just watch the drama or just don't wanna get in between

- See the truth in them.

Being a listener taught me that silence is not emptiness. It’s observation. It’s analysis. It’s understanding who people really are when they think no one is paying attention.

As a listener, I rarely speak unless I need help or ask a question. Unless I'm very comfortable with that person(At least 5 years, I know it's very long- but that's how I am.. trust-issues edition 😝✌️).

Over time, I’ve noticed how much my quiet nature shapes my social skills—sometimes it makes me invisible, sometimes  other times it lets me understand things others overlook and sometimes I mess up some words.

STORY TIME

In fact, when I was in elementary school, my teachers thought I didn’t know Italian, so they put me in a grammar course. I barely said a word in class, but at least I made some friends, yet they assumed I couldn’t keep up. Looking back, it’s almost funny–but at the time, it really showed me how silence can be misunderstood. But I didn't know THAT

MUCH!

END OF STORY TIME

And even if I try to speak, I end up speaking to a wall or getting interrupted, and i'm just be like ‘Alright.. nevermind 🥀’, like–I don't even bother myself to continue what I was saying.

So I don't care if someone doesn't listen to me, ignorance has its own consequences anyway, and that’s not my problem. But it makes me pity especially for those who actually want to be heard or who try to speak, only to be interrupted mid-sentence, and you have to earn it the hard way or give up, which is… frustrating, isn’t it? and even though I don’t speak much, it is still a voice in the room—just a subtle one.

I notice the little gestures— and these small things often tell bigger stories than words ever could even though I don’t say much to it, and I guess we all know it.

Of course, sometimes being quiet backfires—I forget to speak when I should, or I miss a chance to, but mostly I just forget what I was supposed to say in the conversation. It’s just that paying attention matters to me. Those small, quiet details often reveal more than a hundred words ever could.

Holy yapping, so yeah I guess that's all, tell me what do you think in the comments, bye bye!

Are you more of a listener or a talker?

Do you feel comfortable yapping in groups, or do you prefer listening?

Have you ever noticed things others missed just by observing?

ANY QUESTIONS?

(By the way! I'm gonna update my blog by positing another blog, y'all!)
