Little Rabbit is a film about the hidden corners of love. In terms of visuals and acting, it is the best Vietnamese film I have ever watched. The storyline is arranged somewhat chaotically, but that is also what creates many unexpected situations. Incorporating jump scares into a romantic film brings a sense of novelty; however, in some scenes, they feel unnecessary. The stories in the film are connected through shared messages. There are three couples, but only two of them are directly connected to each other if we do not consider the thematic message.
If you are not a professional film critic, you may be drawn in and immersed by the familiarity and unpredictability that the film offers. Since I am an easygoing viewer, I was able to feel the pressure and pain experienced by the characters, and im disappointed the way the female lead, MC of "Chị Bờ Vai", deals with her husband Phong’s infidelity.
Ultimately, the message I took away from the film is this: the MC was so focused on her career that she forgot to listen to her family; Phong had an affair because he felt trapped in an unhappy marriage; and we are often too quick to judge someone without knowing the full story. At the end of the film, the main character delivers a direct message: we should cherish the people around us.
