PROM FOR REAL!

hello!!

yesterday was our masquerade prom, do i talk about it? OF COURSE!

first things first: shoutout to mai.s please don't share this blog to chessboy or else..

i arrived fashionably late ngl and i forgot to formally register in the event but since we had an entrance i had to line up quickly! i was late okay

idk if it was just me or, chessboy was staring at me for a good few seconds before snapping back to reality and went back to being his extroverted self<3 just ask zach for confirmation or im just #delusional like that

anyways, i had to do an entrance twice since the entrance was supposed to be like, a girl-boy entrance thing and there were more boys than girls in our section..ouch

the event started with the usual prayer, national anthem, and opening statement so there's that

omg everyone looks so good in their attire! dang even the boys were wearing WAAAY fancier clothes than just a suit and tie (yes chessboy looked really good too)

then of course there was the dance we painstakingly practiced for a week, my experience wasn't really all that during the actual dance since i didn't get to do some steps well cuz of my and other people's gowns getting in the way so....but its okay XD

after our practiced dance, i LOWKEY told chessboy he looked good today, which he said 'you too' yeah no i dont think he likes me back..he reposted something like not confessing to someone because they're switching schools and IM not switching..#heartbreak?

after the dance, we ate at the catering! im not sure what they were serving, and i unfortunately forgot to take a picture (a ton of pictures of me, no pictures of food? thats WILD)

after we ate, we had this very symbolic candle lighting because after long years of being together as a class, we were now crossing different paths in our lives, and gosh..my heart feels heavy everytime i think about it

after that, they were announcing who won in things like prom king n queen, and titles similar to that, i didnt get nominated hehe sorry guys :'-D

oh yes we are now getting to the REAL good part, the disco!

the host (which is our Filipino teacher the GOAT) literally told us all to take the chance, take your crush to the dance! (wow that rhymed)

for the first few minutes, i was just dancing with some of my friends when all of a sudden, BAM! my friends and his friends literally pushed us together to dance and well, here's how it went

Atheleta (and some of our classmates): Sayaw! Sayaw! [his name mentioned] (Dance some mooooore!)

Aizzy: Ipapakita ko ito sa mama mo! (I'll show this to your mom!!)

Chessboy: Loko!! (exclamation in Filipino)

omg....yeah....idk

after this dance, i actually gathered up all (and i mean ALL!!!) of my courage to ask him to dance AGAIN

i had so much fun and i was smiling and giggling like a stupid teenage girl (which i am tho)

AND AND yk that text i literally made bold, italic, and underlined? my friends actually told him that I (ME???) was moving schools next year and told him to confess during prom..which led him to repost THAT and me misundertanding whatever that was #dontbedelusionalzoiehedoesntlikeyoutrustme

yeah thats him LOL

of course, all the bets i have made (which amounted to around 1.2kphp or $14) because i was a dumbass that thinks i was SOOOO sure he doesn't like me back..i have to pay them back ToT

what's gonna happen to our friend(?)ship? he's the one holding the white chess pieces, not me :'-)

after the disco-dance, we were free to take as many pictures as we want! ending the night for all of us :-))
