new job

just started a new job this week!!

been in a small, family-owned company for the past 2 years. it’s been a while since i’ve experienced proper company culture and structure. idk how depressing this sounds BUT IT’S BEEN GREAT.

while i generally believe that no one should dream of labour, but the stability and peace that a structured company brings is really something. it’s the type of company that i would’ve found too boring 5 years ago. but i guess after a few years of working, some things have changed. everything that was once suffocating is now peaceful and reliable.

i just want a job that let me work in peace with minimal human drama now. i don’t even mind having some crunch periods here and there, everywhere is exploitive now anw. the main aim is just to get that bag to spend on happy things

it’s the start of my first weekend here and i do have some work to clear this weekend. not a great start but so far it’s already way better than before. hoping that this job stays manageable for as long as possible
