 Unlike in the West, the school year in Korea starts in March. I’m a high school senior, with college admissions right around the corner. In November, we take the CSAT(수능) — basically Korea’s version of the SAT. The big difference? You only get one shot at it each year.

 I’m honestly scared — scared that I might not get into the university I want. I’ve dreamed of studying atmospheric science since middle school. I just hope my grades are enough...
