Saying Sorry Too Much

I have a problem with saying sorry. My boyfriend and friends have always said I say it too much. And obviously I have noticed if I’m blogging about it. But like when people get upset, even if it is not about me I say sorry. If I get upset I say sorry. And if someone is upset with me I get so tongue tied and nervous I just say “I’m sorry”. Can anyone else relate?
