EMPTINESS

I hope i'm not the only one that feels like this site has been too silent lately,yes, multiple posts are made every day,minute and second and you can notice it when you check the blogs section,but as much posts people publish i don't see any interaction or comments in any of those,no kudos,no comments or you can only get two comments because nobody says anything,a months ago the site was okay but now it feels hollow.

     I won't be like that people that are always spamming that "Oh spacehey is dead!" or anything like that,NO, spacehey is not dead (yet)but it feels empty compared to how it was on 2020 or 2024,when everyone was OBSESSED with frutiger, frutiger metro and the whole 2000's aesthetic (i miss that era),back when everyone was hopping in spacehey just to try to live how the internet of the 2000's was (in my opinion this isn't the whole old internet experience but something is something). The website was so full of new people everywhere, too many profiles, the site was never this full before, but of course that brought some problems.

The posers/"larps"

As i said the site was never this full before and everything was cool but with that popularity it brought a certain kind of people that only came in because of the customization and layouts and no because they wanted to actually stay and post blogs,make friends or any interaction or use the website at all,or even had the audacity to complain about how this site was "boring" just because you can only read blogs (they didn't even bothered to check the other features this site offers like the forums and groups) saying the site was "dull" and without not much to do,when in the reality THIS is how 2000's websites were like,not watching 1000 videos a day to get dopamine and attention spam, websites where quite simple in content but with a layout that pays off,times when people used to read and reply back,and to watch videos of course, thing that you can do here in your posts by pasting some link, so no spacehey isn't boring, it's only boring for the people who don't know how to use it,so when they didn't find what they wanted they just left leaving their accounts behind as if they didn't spend 5 hours customizing their profile, as if all that effort was for nothing,i hate this people so much,i only give them the credit of reviving the website but this posers are just trend hoppers and thank God all of them left.

The drop

once all of the posers left, only the real people who was actually interested and loved this site like me were the only left, i think this "poser free" era begins in 2025 where the frutiger aero and 2000's obsession begin to disappear (sadly),everything started just fine, even spacehey devs made a blog welcoming the new year, but months later i started to notice the site feel a bit off,yes,a lot of blogs were published most of them talking of their goals for this year but i started to notice the lack of interactions here,most of the blogs were empty, no kudos or comments,which felt weird, and you may say: "it was probably because the post wasn't interesting and short", yea,most of posts like that get forgotten easy but even the most informative and interesting fonts with cool layout get ignored when a year before they where the most coolest thing in the whole site (mostly because most of users don't know how to code or add a cool layout to their blogs) but now they get ignored like it is nothing,no interactions at all,"what happened?" is my question. Well this happened by many reasons,this are just my assumptions i hope you leave yours in the comments if you get to see this ;_;

1. All the posers left leaving the site a little empty.

2. some people just got bored and just disappeared.

3. some people couldn't keep up posting every time and they just left.

4. spacehey got banned in their country because of the online security act (spacehey is banned in the UK for example).

If you asked me which all of these are the responsible i would say all of them,or maybe there's a hidden and mysterious answer that i don't know...

Actuality 

While i'm writing this everything still feels empty, most of the popular blogs are from weeks or even months ago,and new blogs keep being ignored,honestly i'm kind of disappointed, because i thought we would keep this site alive and safe together,i'm not saying this to guilt trip you into joining in or log in to keep this site or anything but i'm just sad because it doesn't feel alive as it was before,i miss when everyone was connected,or posted cool stuff even if it taken hours to write a blog and code the layout there was real effort put into this (it took me an hour and middle to write all of this for example) i remember reading a blog about gyarus and all the subculture stuff, it was very informative and well written i don't remember the user who published that or if they keep posting to this day but i saw all the effort in that blog,i miss that, and no, i'm not saying that your blog isn't interesting or worth reading because you didn't add one hundred images and a cool layout, i'm saying that people should go back to put effort and love in what they do here and share some love and appreciation for others too, is not fair to be writing a blog for hours,and post it to in the end get ignored,i experiment this a lot and it sucks,so please if you have some time go to read blogs and give them two kudos and a comment for me!, i think one of the reason nobody wants to write blogs is because the lack of support they receive so they don't see worthy wasting their time for people that won't even bother to read anything.

Anyways,sorry for making it too long but i had to talk about this issue since nobody was talking about it(or maybe some people tried and i don't know),it's very hard to look for anything here but i try,even if i don't receive much support i will keep posting here as much as i can to entertain you!, i had to make this long because i wanted to express my thoughts and talk a lot about it so you can understand (sorry if you have attention span and can't read all of this ): ), but if you made it this far thank you for reading and i hope you enjoyed this ^_____^!!!.
