yes, I know I'm very late (γ».γ»γ)γ
making this piece was a nightmare honestly! after sketching a few drafts traditionally, I had a ton of technical difficulties combined with the difficulties of learning a new program to deal with in order to finallyΒ finish my artwork a week ago. i never gave up though!Β α(ββΈβΌβΆ)α
I also had to work up the nerve to post this... without further ado, here it is!!
the canvas size is actually 3000 xΒ 2250 (because i didn't know any better...)
description/my thoughts:
this is a drawing of me and my boyfriend (and our cat) in our bedroom, chatting over my laptop while browsing the web together. this drawing is rendered in spacehey blue and has some spacehey paraphernalia scattered about (gotta love the supporter stickers!)Β
i chose to depict this scene because, for me, spacehey is at its core a positive social experience. while the people i've met have been amazing, my favorite experience has been getting people i know irl to join! my boyfriend and i have had a lot of fun customizing our pages, sharing ideas, and ofc meeting new people :)Β
while the creation of this piece was difficult and stressful, and i can see a million things i'd fix if i could, i'm proud of myself for creating and posting this. after all, it was a great learning experience, and it comes from a place of love and joy β‘

i absolutely wanted to convey that feeling so i'm glad it got through!
i only recently starting finishing pieces too btw -- this one was the first experiment and definitely the one that took the most time. if its something you want to do, you should just give it your best shot! i believe in you! (ΰΉΒ°κ΅Β°ΰΉ)
