Wackass Dream

I dreamt I was in space and sliding around on these glowing grids. they kind of acted like water, or hills, like I was surfing or skating across them. I'd get to the peak of one or to the end of a curve and I'd fly through space at an incredible speed and land on another grid. Then, these hovering saucer machines appeared in the air in front of me. They'd appear and disappear to the beat of a song, so I'd have to be on beat to step across them. (they were the size of stepping stones and clearly designed to be walked across) 

The "stepping stones" led me into a huge spaceship which I recognized as where I should've been, and I had fallen behind or left later that everyone else.
