I FINALLY CAN FIX HIM

so in a previous blog i panicked over my main laptop (a decade old dell latitude e5450 xD) having a strange sudden failure, after some tinkering i realized it could be a ssd issue so i bought a new ssd, it came three days early !! so i proceeded to reboot it to linux =D

i was kinda concerned that is was going to be a diffrent issue that was either with the CMOS battery or a motherboard issue entirely, and cmos battery issue would *technically* be unfixable being that for some ungodly reason anything past the battery has the tightest screws known to man and ifi strip any that would absolutely kill my chances of getting to any of the internals xd, but yea i took out the old ssd, hooked it up to another laptop and that one was having issues reading it as well so im going to assume its the ssd, the new one comes and i grab my usb, flash linux and oh my god it worked :0 

im rlly happy my main laptop is working again ^^

silly thing tho, i did all of that while i was otp with my dad and now hes interested in linux and actually recently bought a thinkpad, so now im hoping i know enought abt linux to walk someone thru the process over the phone, in which i probably dont LOL
