MY TEACHERS ARE ENCOURAGING USING CHATGPT TO TEENAGERS WHO ARE CLEARLY NOT USING IT JUST AS A TOOL PLUS ENVIRONMENTAL EFFECTS AHAHHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHA I JUST LOVE LIFE AHAHAHA NEVER BEEN HAPPIER
it feels so fucking weird quitting an addiction when literally almost EVERYONE around you doesnt even see the issue with the thing youre quitting. you dont see people be like "oh come on its not that big of a deal!!! it couldnt have ruined your life, its just a tool!!!!!!" about like.... alcoholism or something?? but AI?? the thing that has made and encouraged several people to take their own lives, and the thing that has detremental effects on our rapidly worsening environment, and the thing that has ruined so many peoples mental health, and the thing that is making sexually suggestive images of REAL PEOPLE (often CHILDREN), and the thing that is actively taking away people's ability to think for themselves??? youre DEFENDING that???????? even my FRIENDS ( uh hiiiii thats awkward.... luv u still but plz guys dont!!! stop it!!!! thanks!!!! :D ) are using AI. it feels like im the only one whos TRYING NOT TO.
im too tired to exand much on this point rn but literally most of the reason i NEVER want to post images of myself on the internet (especially as a minor) is because people are making this depraved, "sexy" AI slop of random people without their consent LIKE IS THIS NOT ILLEGAL

I still remember one of my high school math teachers saying the reason they have us do math that we most likely won't have to use in the future is to teach us how to solve problems. AI is doing the opposite of that and just encouraging laziness and not learning how to problem solve. And I think problem solving skills are more of a sign of intelligence than simply knowing information is.

Exactly I HATE it, like sure it’s okay for some uses, but it’s still hurting our environment. My teacher, had us to a project and she said “oh make Canva ai generate a logo!” FUCK no? I can’t believe they encourage kids to start using ai, it takes away a massive part of our learning and it pisses me off sm
