Cozy Game Spotlight!

Hi friends! 

I've always wanted to start a gaming page where I talk about my favorite games that I'd like to recommend, my first recommendation being a game called EasyDeliveryCo. EasyDeliveryCo. Is a cute PSX style single player game, described as a "relaxing driving game with strange secrets" according to the game's Steam description, developed by Sam C and published by Oro Interactive. You play as a cute yet mysterious cat who's name is never revealed, but seem to resemble another previous resident by the name of 'Seb', according to the other residents. Being an Easy Delivery employee, your prime objective is to pick up delivery jobs submitted through the company job search app we are provided with. Once you've obtained a job, you must use your map and travel to the designated shop where you will encounter one of the residents. After a short chat with them, you're given the items you're expected to deliver and sent on your way! 

Each delivery is obviously different. Some will be a short ways down the street, but as you progress, you'll start getting job offers for stores in other towns that are much further out. Each resident has their own....unique personalities and behaviors, some are loveable and others are just downright creepy. All for reasons that will be explained closer to endgame. With each delivery you make, however, you get to learn more about the backstory of each character, a touch that I really enjoyed! You also stumble upon a friendly dog named K. It's not known why K is the only dog in the town, nor do we ever really understand where K came from but they quickly become an essential friend of ours throughout the story. 

As you make your deliveries and pick up more jobs, it is very important to keep an eye on your energy as you do not sleep. The lower your energy, the slower your character walks. Some higher paying jobs also require you to have a full amount of energy, so be sure to save your money for plenty of energy drinks and coffee! On top of that, you seem to exist in a world with constant freezing temperatures, so be sure to park your truck close to the door or else you will risk freezing to death if you have too far to walk! 

The game has multiple camera modes including first person while driving for a more realistic experience! I was also able to use my Sim racing wheel with it as well, though I cannot say if it supports all wheels or not. Oh, and did I mention the soundtrack? Honestly, the soundtrack added beautifully to the overall aesthetic of the game and made driving around feel so relaxing and serene. I don't want to spoil too much of the game for anyone who has not yet played it, so I will end my review here, but if you're a fan of PS1 graphics and driving simulators and are looking for something easy and relaxing, I highly recommend giving EasyDeliveryCo. A try!  played it on my channel and had a blast! I will likely play it again soon just to experience it a second time!
