in 7th grade, reading the manga in class, back before the great shift happened.
our science teacher walked in so i tried to put the book away, but he asked me to take it out from under my desk. i was more scared of him seeing naked giants, but he just kept complaining about how hard it is to read books from back to front. "with books like these, landing a decent job is out of the question. you will end up in an unknown band, playing drums" he said, unprovoked, in front of 50 something classmates after making me stand up. i hadn't even done anything bruh
