college is. . . something!

i haven't been able to write as much here ever since my laptop died, and i really missed all of you :(. my life has been all topsy turvy recently. nothing dire, of course, but its a lot to get used to. i am currently in my second term of my first year, and it was really difficult for me to make friends. somehow i was able to though, could be a survival response on my end wihihi. i do have a set group of friends, but they're from different unis. how crazy is that ?! 

academics wise i've been doing surprisingly well, even though i have been slacking off a ton ;><. hopefully i can do better this time. the "fake it til' you make it" got me really far in my academic life. some people think i'm responsible enough to hold a head position in some organization i haven't heard of. i might take up the offer if i feel like it. idk :P. 

i dropped the academic competition hobby that i've been doing for the past 3 years. i'm a little sad but i've been doing much better without it, now i can focus on my own interests and not some bum larpers in suits :PPPP. i feel like life has been less stressful, but i am bracing for impact. on saturday i am watching iron lung with my bf!! this is our first real real date (after a whole year of being together), and im kinda nervous. he isnt my first relationship, but this is my actual first date. im not really sure what to do or what to wear, but i'm hoping for the best! 

i've been really into history and music for the past few months, my love for the beatles has resurfaced and is kinda plaguing my life rn ;_ _ _) i feel like the academic competitions stopped me from being able to indulge in my loser interests. im finding myself again and thats really fun! also im doing my best to lessen my screen time. i feel like my brain has been wonky when it shouldnt. im updating my socials whenever i can though!
