I grew up listening to so many good songs on the radio everything from Bohemian Rhapsody on the classic rock channel to Toxic by Britney Spears on Z100 (I live in New York).
Today I got tagged in a post on Instagram thag I assumed was just spam. Maybe some NFT scam or something. Read into it a little further and it mentioned my name as one of the artists that would be on their radio station later on in the day. WUSB 90.1, Stony Brook’s radio station on Long Island.
It said 3pm. I tuned in, listened to a few songs. Enjoyed hearing new music. And then I hear the first little fluttering melodies of my song “20s”.
I was so excited, actually was over my parents house. So my dad walked through the door from taking out the recycle to see me looking at their radio, I turn around and points at me. I say to him “Yeah that’s me!!!”. We smiled and laughed and even tapped our feet for the remainder of the song.

omg it was such a thrill! still can’t believe it tbh! getting to a point where I was happy with the songs I was producing and be proud of them took legitimately so long to get to and was definitely a journey but now it’s probably my favorite thing to do. you’ll get there! fr! i would be stoked! rn im kinda in a depressed state. if you my take pitty on me i have a boyfriend th hardly listens to me when i play guitar. im sch a mess that i wanna cry about everything but whats the point im not even anything impotant. im just tired of being treated like poo poo. i wish i could have a man that would suppor me... im just tired of him clling me shit and names. im not happy...im not.... i feel like im nothing....i wish he didnt make me feel this way....
