So I was listening to the "Phantom of The Paradise" (1974) soundtrack specifically my favorite song, The Hell of it by: Paul Williams (the cool guy who wrote all the songs for this movie an also a lot of Muppet movies including the song Rainbow Connection. This movie was around the height of his game but also the height of his drug (specifically cocaine) usage and I find it funny that in that era he always wore actual rose tinted (sometimes amber) glasses, I think he still does.) sorry all about hime is completely unrelated I just really love this movie and Paul Williams.
So after it went through the soundtrack it played this random rock song, it sounded like it was made around that era, maybe early 70's or mid 60's, right? WRONG all of these pretty men in there 60's haircuts and little ties and such with an affect that looks like old film is all FROM THIS DECADE right now. They started in 2016 and they still make music! There whole vibe they say is 60's lyrics and melody with the edge of 70's rock and it is.. SO good. They are a very popular band with an independent record label (take that WB) but I'm just now hearing of them lol. If you haven't heard of them and you like old rock with fresh lyrics and fun music videos pleasseeee check them out! It is a brother duo but I think in 2025 they got a drummer and a bassist? They are all real good.
This is there artist profile but I really like the album "A dream Is All We Know"
