soo i finished the summer you were there a few days ago, but if i had reviewed it back then i would have typed a bunch of unpleasing words about how you SHOULDN'T read this for your own wellbeing, especially if you're a yuri fan like me. what did that have to do with this? idk but I guess that's why it resonated with me. because i guarantee you that this story is sad, but not always.Β
obviously isn't all sadness. i loved reading this manga because kaori loved shizuku in such a sweet way, and my sensitive azz wasΒ tearing up of joy reading every chapter, watching that kind of deep yet confusing love
well i'll resume the story a little bit if u don't mind ><
the story follows shizuku whom is an introverted and kinda low-steemed girl. she wrote a novel for her own satisfaction, in school accidentally a page of her novel fell, but kaori whom is an cheerlful, sweet and aslo popular in the school, grabs and reads it, shizuku expected harsh opinions on kaori's side but to shizuku's surprise she loved it, from then, kaori looks forward that shizuku keeps writing.
obviously it's not just that, altough i'm making this blog entry just to give my opinion about this manga i'm afraid of spoiling whoever is reading this hehe
conclusion. i suffered, a lot but my heart warmed a lot too, idk how a manga did that to me but it happened, such a beautiful story. i think i have fallen in love with kaori hehe shes just too cute and caring
anyway, read the summer you were there / kimi to tsuzuru utakata, you won't regret it β‘
