Someone told me that love is just chemical signals and reactions in the brain. They said this to be dismissive of it. But every thought, emotion and experience is chemical signals in the brain. That doesn't make the human experience trivial. I'm impressed by the vastness of what we can think and feel despite how tiny we are and how tinier our synapses are.

That is a lovely thought. I really like when I realize and analyze those things that seem insignificant to other people. Being able to be truly aware of and appreciate what seems like simple common-sense things we take for granted brings me energy and positivity.
Yeah I'm never going to take the chemicals in my brain for granted! Nor my existence even though it's tiny in the vast cosmos!
