like i JUDGE a book my its cover when it comes to this site and profiles. if someone sends me a request, the top 3 things which make me decline (other than blank slate n literally NO interests listed) are,
1) if we have literally NOTHING in common, from what i can see on the profile
2) you use a free layout, specifically if its common, the more common, the quicker i decline.
3) if its not really my tone(?) or mood…a lot of people here think they're niche with their “dads garage,” and Radiohead ahh interests, and I'm not really into it….idk js me…and it's hella repetitive on here tbh.
but back to the layouts specifically…like i get it some people dont know how to code. BUT I ALSO DIDNT KNOW SHIT, like i got a 1 in AP CSA (3 in CSP tho, CSA was self-study), and my profile is pretty like meh maybe,
BUT AT LEAST I MADE IT W/ MY OWN BLOOD N SWEAT…and it is a REAL mark of individuality, since its specific to ME.
idk tho, js wanted to rant about that.
if you wanna make ur own layout, I definitely think you should learn (i learned from YT), mine took a while to get to where its at now (and its messy). even tho its not much, im still proud of it since i made it myself and its pink. (also i still used small parts ppl put in layouts like the links or wtv, i couldn't figure out how to code my own.)
also im pretty sure MySpace taught an entire generation HTML, and isn’t SpaceHey like MySpace 2.0??? if we yearn for that era so bad, why dont we do what they did during that era? if we yearn, we shall learn.

I mean i had taken some frutiger aero layout someone did, but then I changed the things myself and i didn't even look at what it meant, I just searched myself through the code and tried by changing images which pic they were.
If I hadn't stumbled over the frutiger aero layout though I would've watched tutorials ;-)

omg yea, my profile is lowkey shitty n its sort of basic, but I made it myself n im proud to say it.. im tired of all the new people going on here n asking about the most basic shit about coding like how to change the background of there profile or the color of their text.. like please bruh go watch the countless tutorials out there and I get people who r actually are struggling n need help with coding but idk why peoples first thought when they get on here n they don't know shit about coding is to ask people instead of actually trying to learn it themselves first lol
