Concerts/shows

I can't wait for concert season to come back, so I'm writting this as a little appreciation post for the ones I've been to.

Every summer we have two festivals, one major that has concerts as a key part, God do I love it. I love to jump and yell with my friends, it's just so fun. One year we went with a girl who didn't do well with loud noises, we ended up drinking shitty warm beer somewhere on the grass, way in the back. It was some of the most fun I've had, plus at that time I was going thru a friendship break-up. 

Another fond memory was when I went to some punk festival, I ended up jumping so much that I could bearly move my legs by the end, I was dead. I slept in till so late the next day only to wake up to a dozen of messages from my friends calling me to town. So I hurried back to the town to hang out with friends and play poker.

One year I went with my brother and his friend to a festival, at the start I mentioned my town having two festivals, the other one is a rock festival. We hung near the back, one of my favorite bands was playing, it was one of the most energetic concerts I went to, it was the only time I lost my voice. At the same concert some lady, very clearly on drugs struck up a conversation with me, it was genuinely one of the nicer interactions I've had in a while.

And now for my all time favourite story is how I snuck into the Ultra Festival when I was eleven. It's a festival(?) in Europe, I never did much research into it but my friend told me a lot about it. She really wanted to go, I think she was around fourteen at the time since she was a part of my host family. Anyways, we made our way to the side, made a shitty excuse to the guards that I'm a foreigner or something and that I need to use the toilet. I don't know what she even said but it got us in, they told us to be quick. We weren't quick at all, we stayed for a good hour before we went back out. It's a memory I think so fondly of, I honestly think it's my favourite stories to tell as I said already.
