I was walking to do my weekly shopping of packed lunch stuff and this woman with one of those fancy fuzzy mics was walking on the same pavement and asked if I could do a street interview for one of the BBC radios on the local election in my area. I don't really know why this general election suddenly my area is under the spotlight but I said yes and she basically asked me what I would want from an MP as a young person and I was mostly talking about the public transport and for the 1 notable cafe in my suburb to put their damn prices down. I don't know how useful my words were considering I don't give a crap about politics and I don't know any of the parties policies cause they're too busy slagging each other off in their properganda leaflets that keep accumulating in my letterbox to actually say what they're gonna do. The BBC has quite a few radio stations and idk how long it takes to go from street recording to live radio so I'll probably never hear my own words again but that was kinda cool ig.
