Short Rant!
Lowkey, I've been getting so bored with the indie horror game genre as a whole in the mainstream. Once a certain style of horror goes well i notice it gets latched onto and sucked dry and it gets repetitive, it happened with FNaF, it happened with Lethal Company, and now i feel like the work/job horror stuff is getting annoying too where you run like kiosks, or the most recent craze, Hellmart. I don't know, i love indie horror a lot and know there is so many other games that deserve recognition but in the mainstream horror games especially are getting dry. Sometimes i feel like people are just trying to make a quick bag.

Realest, I want a nice indie psychological horror not the groundhog day horrors like whatever those are
I'm so glad I'm not the only one burnt out on it. I love that people are taking inspo from other games but at the same time, i want to see more creativity in it, i dont want to play a fnaf, or a poppy playtime, or a lethal company, or a kiosk horror, etc. I want a game that like truly sticks and can stand on its own. Like for me the most recent indie games i enjoyed was games like Mouthwashing, and theres this new one called Letters of Bernard Thorne. Shit one of my favorite indie games was At Dead of Night.
