On the Carpmosia MRP label

Hi! As you know, I'm the owner of the Space Station 14 server Carpmosia, a "LRP++" fork focused on longer rounds and higher standards of roleplay. Throughout the past few months, hell since it was made, our server has been going through a sort of identity crisis. There seems to be a large split majority that wish for our server to commit to upholding the core values that we inherited from our split initially from Ronstation, and another half that's part of encouraging that we remain where we are, as this sort of higher standard LRP. This has lead to us coming to the argument that we are having now, the debate over declaring ourselves under the label of MRP.
If you are any familiar with me at all, you know what side I stand on. I've been hoping for the longest time that we were to encourage a MRP player base, one that upholds higher standards of communication, but isn't gated to the newer player. Below are Four explanations for why I believe that we should commit to the MRP label.

1. Server Identity
2. Moderation
3. Commitment to Community
4. Labels are shitty, fuck LRP

Let's start with the first reason, Identity. I've been a player in the RonCarp ecosystem for what seems like a year at this point, and I've gotten to learn a lot about what the community expects from its players. From my time playing on Carpmos, as both a player and an admin (Which I see a lot of admins NOT PLAYING AS PLAYERS), our playerbase enjoys longer rounds with more room for roleplay. This means less combat focused events, and reality breaking admemes, which are both reported negatively by the playerbase. We sit at this place where the expectation is to roleplay, already implementing metashields and other metarules to discourage the players from striving from in character moments. Most of the rules we enforce are already MRP standards, and already shoot us above the goob, wizden mrp, and actually sit us around what's expected for most MRP servers. We might as well just pull over to MRP and count our chickens early.

Currently the server sits in an awkward position, where we try to allow things that are disruptive to other players in order to embrace a lrp name, but also get on people for breaking things that we have already established as roleplay violations. Contrary to what was said before, I believe adopting this label as MRP makes moderation easier, as someone intentionally causing issues or refusing to communicate can be stopped as a problem. Kill NRP assholes.

Need I say more? The playerbase likes a certain thing, and to foster that we should adopt a mrp label l0lz.

Nowadays, LRP is NRP and MRP is LRP. We should expect our players to uphold a standard, therefore we adopt the label to tell people we want them TO COMMUNICATE and play the game with others.

Idk! I have more to say but this whole ordeal has pissed me off and made me cry a lot, u can ask more in pm's or  in comments, love you all ^^.

This seems to reaffirm that trying to create a fiction that multiple people don't throw away is really hard. I don't fully understand it since I'm not familiar with what you do.
