Right so, as a kid I was heavily disabled; like wheelchair bound to a harsh case of juvenile arthritis, weird start I know but I like to think it links up with my main point.
During early school for me, I definitely had that same feeling of I wish I could do that when seeing people play sports like football or like being the guy the crowd cheers for on the 100m sprint for like a cheap chocolate coin and a medal.
All this considered, I think it's weird since I've recovered back in secondary school times that all my memories of secondary school have melded in this weird amorphous blob of a memory. I don't think I could really tell you what I did over the course of secondary school though as a kid the idea I could've looked forward to playing in sports or representing the school (albeit badly) in the 400m to get the day off would've probably been on my mind the whole time I was recovering.
Secondary gotta be the most soul draining experience ever or college had to have been a refreshing sense of freedom that I've really enjoyed so much it's overtaken my secondary school memories, one of these is more surprising than the other in all fairness; secondary school? Boring? That's an insane idea.
I don't think I'm really getting anywhere but I've wanted to write this out to document it for a while as it's always weirded me out a bit, also I don't think I ever wrote a new here post to blogs but hey feel free to interact or send a message over if ya like, I'll always get around to checking requests eventually as I'm slowly learning HTML (wish me luck cus I'm lost af now ðŸ˜).

Schools are horrible and poorly adapted for disabled or different kids. That’s horrible and makes kids feel left out.
It definitely does not prepare you well for college and afterwards depending on where your from (seeming as I gotta use a VPN to even use spacehey) where all the responsibility is on you rather than the school feeling so responsible it becomes harsh and overbearing.
I do wish people the best as they get through secondary, either all the kids are trying to act older than they are or prove themselves to other people by acting cool or tough, in my experience a lotta them end up being embarrassed of themselves later too, the school system does need a total rework though I agree
