I feel bald

im wearing a snapback cap for the first time and at first i thought it was meh but like i like how it looks on my head. I took it off for a second to fix my hair, and I felt so plain without. I felt bald, like there was nothing on my head and I needed the cap to fix that. 

Is this why frat boys always wear hats? Is it like a curse that once you put it on, you never want to take it off?
