Hello everyone!! 

I had a pretty nice day so I thought it'd be good to document what happened today!

I had a cute outfit today

I was kind of in a rush to leave so my photos aren't amazing. I bought this skirt recently from a store called ally (i think?) and I love it so much. The shirt/blouse is something I remember begging my mum to buy me in 2016 I think lmao and the headbow is a knockoff btssb it's still pretty even if it is fake.

My plan was just to go out get what I needed to get done and then go home so I didn't really wear any makeup. It was also pretty hot today (30c) so the blouse was rlly nice. 

Today I just needed to complete some enrollment related business pretty uninteresting stuff it went well (thank goodness) so now I'm ready for orientation! I'm already familiar with majority of my teachers, staff and my peers so I don't feel all that nervous. On top of my new job I feel very excited about what this year has in store for me! and hopefully I won't be as financially strained and can afford some useful and nicer things. 

As I was leaving one of the other enrollment ppl complemented my outfit which made me feel very happy. 

I thought since I had some money it wouldn't hurt to look at a nearby op shop where I'd just had my appointment. There were two stores one had very nice items and more "authentically" vintage items (Including old gen mlp's) but was very expensive so I just went to the more standard op shop. I spent a long time just looking around at everything which was nice. Eventually I settled on a doll. He's a babydoll and one of those "80's fake vintage" kind of cheap dolls. His clothes are in good condition and doesn't have any hair to take care of and besides I've been wanting a babydoll anyway.

On my way to the bus stop home I found a parcel lying in the middle of the footpath, I picked it up looked at the name and address then looked it up on google maps to see if it was far from my location. Wasn't too far and despite my dislike for how hot it was I thought it'd be a good idea to give it to the owners address. 

I walked up and was a lil embarrassed because the owner was just coming back home so I had to call out to her and give it to her in person I felt a little sheepish but I'm glad she got her package. 

The bus ride home was easy though right before I got off there was a woman on the bus who looked at me and said "jsdshgsqwhsgyd PRINCESS?!" I didn't hear what that first part was since I had earphones in but I did hear her say 'princess' and then gave me a thumbs up so I gave her a thumbs up back. I think she might have been complimenting me? considering the way I was dressed she may have been doing the latter or mocking me. Doesn't matter I like to think she was giving me a compliment. She also downed an entire can of jack daniels sooo y'know.

Y'all know how those railway pedestrian crossings work? where there's an emergency exit and you press a button to leave? well when I was walking up to the crossing an elderly woman got stuck while the gates were closed because of an oncoming train. She was okay because she made it to the emergency area. But after the gates had opened she got trapped in there, for some reason the buttons didn't work and the gate that closes the crossing off opened outwards meaning that the gate had blocked the way she made it into the emergency exit. She was an elderly woman with a trolley of stuff so no way she was going to finesse out of there. I got a lil panicked since I was the only one around and worried she'd be trapped forever lmao . But thank god I was able to open the gate wide enough on my own. She was saying 'oh you're so strong so strong!' in a heavy accent and lemme tell u there is nothing better than being praised by nice old ladies especially for your strength. 

I got home ~eventually~. and have just been chilling after (what is for me) a very busy day. 

I've had dinner I'm just going to post this blog, do the dishes and go to bed! Good nite!
