trying to police someone's identity is straight up weirdo behavior. istg. | Apparently, Indians aren't Asian.

Honestly, I am getting so fucking sick and tired of the amount of blatant racism and ignorance that is on the Internet. It's fucking insane. Like, how can we have all this access to information, but yet we're still ignorant on certain shit? 

Like, the amount of posts and forms I've seen on the internet of people claiming that Indians aren't considered Asian is fucking insane to me.Like, it's already bad enough that Indians or other forms of South Asians are already hated on and demonized on the internet, but then to be told that you're not a part of a continent that's literally on the map or 'well youre not asian" is fucking insane to me. 

 Like, I'm so sorry, Jonathan, that your image of Asians is just Chinese, Japanese, and Korea, because you and your buddies weren't taught basic geography in school. 

 And that's mostly what it is. It's a lack of geographical knowledge. You can literally look on a globe, and you will find that South Asia exists in Asia and India is a part of it. 

You don't see people saying that "South Africa isn't considered African" because it's from the South. You only see this ignorant bullshit with mostly South Asians It is so weird to me. 

 This is what happens when you have a president in America, that doesn't care about your education at all and wants to completely defund it. This is what you get. You have kids who can't even answer basic math questions. Or have a basic understanding of geography. It's pathetic. 

  This entire dumbass argument can literally be disproven by looking on a map and seeing where India is located. 

Anyone who thinks otherwise that Indians, or any country in South Asia, isn't considered Asian are just racist and ignorant and are trying to defy basic geography to justify their own racism, like, imagine trying to tell the average American that the Middle East is a part of Asia, and it's not just East Asian countries that are there, and that's it, fucking ridiculous. 

We really need to start making geography a main class course in these schools because if we did, we wouldn't be having these ignorant ass debates, and people trying to downplay what's considered Asian.

I remember when I was in freshman year of high school and I said that I was South Asian. They were like, "oh so, are you Korean or Japanese? or trying to tell me that I wasn't Asian because I said that India is a part of South Asia."  those mfs were dumb asl I swear.
