Fashion tip: slow down

As someone who is obsessed with fashion, I have to say that the most enjoyable part of it is not the buying, but the finding

I dont care if you buy from shein, aliexpress, temu, or other platforms. Really, its your life and you can do whatever you want with it. My problem with fast fashion is that it doesnt last. Like the name implies, its fast, it isnt meant to last long because it relies on trends. 

First, think of how YOU wanna dress, not how tiktok or ig wants you to. What things do you like? Do you like a soft look? Do you like the 50s? Maybe you like both the 50s and the 2000s. Me, for example, I love vintage fashion and vampires, so I mix the two of them. 

Next, think before buying. Will this piece last? is this really what I wanna wear? How can I style it with my other clothes? Dont buy just because youre greedy; do it with an intention. It doesnt have to be the most magnificent piece for you to wear it. A simple white blouse that can be styled in many different outfits will save your life. 

I mostly find my clothes in the thift store. its difficult sometimes since you never know if youre going to find something you like. But when you do... thats the best feeling ever. And im not just saying to buy second-hand just because i want you to save the environment (we will die anyway), but because you will look incredibly unique. You will be your true self. And im serious when I say that I bought amazing pieces at 2 dollars only. And I know it is sometimes a struggle to find good clothes in those stores, but while I was living in Argentina, I would buy from online small business. My favorite jean jacket was just 10 dollars, and from the same seller I also got a leather vest, at a much cheaper price.

High quality matters, something that fast fashion lacks. As I mentioned before, fast fashion just follows trends. If something is high quality, it is meant to be used over an over again without limits. But think before you buy it, especially if its expensive. How many times will I use this piece before I get tired of it? the trick is in buying to style, not to wear.

Fashion became a part of my lifestyle after I became more aware of it. These are the things I do to look unique everyday and I just wanted to share it here. You dont need to be rich to be cool ;)
