SO... Well, I'd really like to have a girlfriend, to meet a girl with who I can share the same opinions and maybe even the same interests. My problem is not knowing how; it could be online, of course, but I'd like to meet her in person, somewhere... But i don't even know where that could be! I'm 18, but I feel like I'm still young to go to a club and meet girls, even if looking for something serious. I'm almost completely lacking in social skills; I'd say "Hi" and then what?! The typical, and then you get stuck in that small conversation that goes nowhere at all. Who else experiences this?

You could maybe find someone at an anime convention,l. What particular hobbies are you interested in?

Experienced that as well. It's hard to try to ask thoughtful questions without knowing their personality a bit. What I sort of learned is to put more empasis on hearing and listening conversations around depending on if their shirt has a "Spongebob" teeshirt or specific interests/hobbies that you can resonate with.
