Why is it that all music sounds the same nowadays? I can’t hear a single track without thinking “this is a cheap copy paste”.
What happened to making shit nobody has heard before?
Am I on the wrong side of SoundCloud or do other people also feel this?
Personally I make a 90s techno/trance fused with modern house. The hard 4 on the floor techno kicks with the trancey bassline and some house type chords. I’ve never heard anyone make that kind of music before. But again, maybe Im on the wrong side of the internet music wise.
Thoughts on this?

mainstream music has been like that for a while,catchy (sometimes) and not memorable,basically any "generic" song you'd hear on the radio and go "wow this sounds good but im not gonna bother looking it up"
soundcloud is also like that
