dear whoever stumbles across this,

hello! i hope life is treating you well.

i decided today that i wanted to get back into blogging and documenting my life. i had slipped out of journaling this past summer. i felt that my life was just too boring. i did the same things, day in and day out. but this year, i wanted to get out of that rut. i wanted to do things that i think are fun. 

part of that has been stepping away from modern social media and technology. i was tired of spending all of my days scrolling. so i've moved over here, hopefully to chat with people and share whats going on in my life.

another part has been my daily "side quests". every day i try to do something fun and engaging to keep me more involved in my own life.

we'll see how long i'll keep up with these lol

today is a rare day in my current schedule where i dont have anything to do. usually i would scroll and sleep it away. but as i've already mentioned, we're trying not to do that anymore. i turned my screentime back on. it'll turn almost everything on my phone off after a certain time. and every hour i spent mindlessly scrolling will be an hour i spend the next day doing something creative or without my phone.

todays song

our song for today is four to three by mishio ogawa. i found this album online and thought it sounded interesting. i listened to it while i went on a walk around the neighborhood because it was actually somewhat warmer than it has been.

todays side quest

my quest for today was to find and make a new recipe. i tried to make this omelet sandwich and failed miserably. i couldnt flip the bread and it all kinda fell apart. oh well. it still tasted good.

looking forward to

ive finally saved up enough to get the old town ninjago lego set! it's taken me months and im super excited to get it. im going to be taking a day trip to the city with our nearest lego store soon.

i also have tech rehearsal for a show coming up on sunday. i'm stage crew, so i'm not acting in this one, but the show is super hilarious, so im still excited.

tomorrow is the third session of my stage manager training course! it's been going great, so im looking forward to learning more.
