Flavor Foley Appreciation Lol

I just wanted to ramble about how much I *adore* Flavor Foley. Currently, they are my favorite music group when it comes to Vocalsynths, I think they are some of the most creative artists when it comes to the Vocaloid/Utauloid (Im old asf so I still say Vocaloid and Utauloid, if any newgens wanna correct me please do lmao. Vocaloid has been my special interest since like I was 9 and I don't know this lmao im a fraud) 

There is not a single song in their discography that is bad I swear to god. (There's a lot of mixed feelings on Hot Dog but I personally like it.) 

Especially since, in today's era for Vocaloid Songs, it's kinda oversaturated with people wanting to be the next Mesmerizer or Rabbit Hole. WHICH!! I WANT TO SAY!! LET ME SAYETH. I think Mesmerizer and Rabbit Hole are fantastic songs. I think they are creative and super catchy, i've loved Deco*27 since I was like 9 or 11, so I am heavily biased ofc. But, ever since they came out, it's like every other producer wants to be the next one and it's just so unfortunate. Because back when I was a kid, there was at least a variety. 

NOT TO SAY THAT MODERN VOCALOID SONGS ARE BAD!! I *love* a lot of modern vocaloid songs. I'm gonna list some of my favorites because I hate saying "oh, all of modern vocaloid/synth v are mesmerizer slop!!" cause that's not true at all.

There's a lot more!! But, back to Flavor Foley. They are *so* damn talented and creative, their MVs are so gorgeous and creative. Especially after the influx of Girl in front of Background MVs. It's hard for me to pick a favorite but if I had to, I'm gonna have to say Spoken For. I'm a sucker for anything Rhythm Heaven. But, Spoken For really hits close to home for me, especially the bridge. 

Weather Girl is also one of my favorite MVs, it's just fantastic in general, the way Flavor Foley tunes is so distinct, it's so easy to pick out among others. OH, AND STATIC!! I HAVE TO TALK ABOUT STATIC! Static is easily one of the best songs we have gotten in the 2020s, it is one of the most catchiest, creative things I have ever heard. (Also I am a massive Deltarune fan so it's also one of the most Tenna things I have ever heard). Also the song being 4:04 long because of the 404 Error is so goddamn good.

Human's currently the newest song Flavor Foley has (Though they are teasing another and I am so goddamn excited about it) and it genuinely made me cry the first time I heard it (corny, just like me). I love how Miki's tuning becomes more human near the end of the song. Human also kind of hit hard for me, since I am autistic, sometimes I just don't feel human and I *want* to. Just, the lyrics "Is that the tempo i'm meant to follow? With heavy hearts, we turn around and fall. Is that human after all?" 

Ward Romance is also just a banger, I love, love, LOVEEE Paparazzi Murder Party. But, Water the Roses really stole my heart too. I'm a sucker for anything wlw and good ass Gumi Tuning. OH, AND THE FLOWER SYMBOLISM. 

Anyways, I LOVE FLAVOR FOLEY!! If you have *never* listened to vocalsynth or vocaloid or whatever its called nowadays lmao. I 100000% recommend Flavor Foley. Genuinely, the songs are so good it takes me back to hearing the classics for the first time when I was just a dumb middle school girl.
