Hello so does anyone here do art and perhaps use ibis paint x? If so good! Because I have being thinking about something recently and I was wondering if anyone else I thinks the same (or different!) So you know the ibis paint filters that can make your art look really kewl? So I use a lot of the filters for my art which make it look really kewl and stuff and I personally aren’t the greatest at rendering (Im working on it) and the filters just come with the app and just make my artworks look kewl! But sometimes it also feels like cheating because some people out here take lots of there time to make art when I can do it in like 6 hrs and it feels just like a short cut :c Plus sometimes I use the filters because of how easy it is and other people like render everything but idk honestly and I was wondering if anyone thinks Same or otherwise. :)

Hi I don't use Ibis anymore but I remember that the filters they have are usually just basic ones. There are some filters that do a good job but u'll have to mess around with all of them to find the ones u like.
And filters are just a tool like any other in an app. Like the brush or the bucket the filters are there to help u. And there are artists that don't use them bit this is based solely on personal preference. Also, the time spent on art is something of ur own process, some people just like to take more time in their pieces, and there is nothing wrong in wanting to take less time in ur process.

Idk of the filter ur talking about r like a premium feature but I've not used them,either ways I wouldn't say it's cheating cuz ive even seen ppl take pictures and edit with any drawing app 2 make it look cooler,so if I make sense which hopefully I do-its just another tip 2 make art look cool lol :3 I use filters but my own I've made on polarr back in my kpop days lol cuz idk how 2 do all that editing anymore I lost it
